School Counselors are a vital part of our school. They are constantly working with students, families, and teachers to maximize learning opportunities and social emotional support for all their students. Bunker Hill is incredibly fortunate to have Dr. Morros, Mrs. Kerfoot, and Mrs. Vernon supporting our students. They are among the best and deserve recognition for how hard they work and the sacrifices they make for their students. Please be sure to join us in celebrating the awesome counselors that support our Bulldogs.

This week marks week 1 of Black History Month and each year, Bunker Hill works to recognize key individuals in our contemporay times who are difference makers, leaders, and ones who give back to the communityThis week, we celebrate Nicholas JohnsonIn 2020, In a time of COVID and remote learning, Nicholas Johnson became Princeton University's first Black Valedictorian. This is an extraordinary mark in the history of the school and with Mr. Johnson graduating top of his class truly signifies how far IVY League schools have come but also signifies the continued work still ahead. Not only is Mr. Johnson a remarkable scholar and researcher, his philanthropy and mission trips to support countries in need set him apartIn his graduation speech, Mr. Johnson said:  "I challenge each of us to develop our own unique answer to the question, 'what needs to be built?'and to revise our answers as we continue to learn. Think critically about what needs to be built in the world, build it, and never stop learning."
