• Applying for a Career

All candidates for certified and non-certified employment must complete an on-line application.

A letter of interest, resume, copies of transcripts, N.J. certification, PRAXIS scores, N. J. Highly Qualified Teacher Identification forms (download from http://www.nj.gov/njded/profdev/hqt/house.pdf ), and other applicable paperwork must be provided at the time of the interview.

We outsource using ESS for Teachers and paraprofessionals. Please go to ESS.com if you are interested in being a substitute teacher.

We do hire substitute Bus Drivers, Transportation Assists, Food Service Workers, Custodians, Security and Nurses. If you are interested in becoming a substitute for any of these positions, you can click on employment in the top right corner of our website and select substitute under the vacancies category. All applications must be completed online.

Vacancies are advertised on our website, several college websites, in the Sunday Philadelphia Inquirer, Courier Post, South Jersey Times, and other newspapers as needed. They are also posted at the Central Administration Building, and they can be viewed between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Applications must be submitted on or before 4:30 p.m. on the closing date to be considered.

After an application is received, it is screened for meeting preferred criteria and appropriate certifications. It is then forwarded to the school principal and/or administrator where the vacancy exits. Due to the volume of applications received, status checks can not be conducted. Upon submittal, an e-mail will be generated informing you that it has been received and will be processed. All applications are archived. To activate your candidacy for additional vacancies, please log in to the posting site to reapply using your original user name and password. Your original application will appear. You may update your application as needed at anytime.

Questions pertaining to any advertised positions may be sent via e-mail to HumanResources@wtps.org
