Five District schools piloted the Anti-Defamation League of Philadelphia’s No Place for Hate® program. Bells, Wedgwood and Whitman Elementary Schools, Chestnut Ridge Middle School and Washington Township High School hosted the self-directed program that is designed to improve and maintain school climates to ensure that all students can thrive.
- All 11 of the District's schools earned certifications as New Jersey Future Ready Schools. The recognition reflects the District's commitment to transforming instructional practices, leveraging technology and personalizing learning to mirror the digital world that students are immersed in.
- Washington Township High School has been selected as the recipient of a $2,000 Sustainable Jersey for Schools capacity-building grant from the PSEG Foundation. The grant is one of 30 $2,000 grants distributed to support on-the-ground, sustainability and capacity-building projects in schools and districts across New Jersey.
- The District launched its tuition-based integrated preschool program.
- The District implemented its Equity Coalition to address issues of incluson, equity, tolerance, social justice and cultural sensitivity.
