• 2013-2014 Points of Pride

    • Washington Township High School Varsity Golf, under the direction of Head Coach Shane Snyder, captured the 2014 New Jersey Group IV State Championship with a one-stroke win over Cherokee High School on May 19, 2014, at Hopewell Valley Golf Club.  It was the golf team’s first state title since 1998. The squad was also crowned South Jersey Sectional Champions, Carl Arena Tournament Champions and Gloucester County Champions with a 17-2 record.

    • The National Jefferson Awards for Public Service named Washington Township High School the Top Service Leadership School in the State of New Jersey for the second consecutive year. The school’s Students in Action group generated more than 82,000 student service hours and fundraised $270,000 for the benefit of the Washington Township community.

    • The Washington Township High School Athletics Department was the recipient of the 2013 Olympic Conference Sportsmanship Award, marking the first time that the school has received the award. The award is presented to schools that demonstrate character in accordance with the Olympic Conference Sportsmanship code (P.R.I.D.E. – Patience – Respect – Integrity – Dignity – Excellence).

    • Washington Township High School was recognized as one of New Jersey’s Top Performing Public High Schools by The Star-Ledger’s “Inside Jersey” Magazine.
    • The Washington Township High School Tri-M Music Honor Society represented New Jersey at the National Association for Music Education's national assembly. The group earned second runner-up nationally, garnering a $600 scholarship to go with the recognition.
