• 2019-20  Points of Pride

    • Washington Township High School Social Studies Teacher Brittany Mason was honored as the Gloucester County Teacher of the Year.

     

    • Bunker Hill Middle School custodian Shawn Dudley was named the 2019 Gloucester County Educational Support Professional of the Year.

     

    • WTHS Athletic Director Kevn Murphy was named recipient of the DAANJ (Directors of Athletics Association of New Jersey, Inc.) 2019 Sectional Winner of Merit for South Jersey.

     

    • The Washington Township School District was honored with the Best Communities for Music Education designation from the NAMM (National Assosication of Music Merchants) Foundation for its outstanding commitment to music education.  The District was one of 754 school districts nationwide to receive the recogntion in 2020.

     

    • All 11 District School received 2019-20 certifications in the Anti-Defamation League's "No Place for Hate" Program.

     

    • The District introduced the "Building Better People" Program with an emphasis on social-emotional learning, anti-bullying initiatives, postiive-based behavior programs (including the positivity project), mindfulness and student recognition programs.
