• Spanish

In grade 6, students are introduced to the four general linguistic skills: the ability to use correct Spanish pronunciation and intonation patters, the ability to converse on a novice level in Spanish, the ability to read in Spanish and to understand basic phrases and commands given in Spanish. This is accomplished through the material and activities as presented in Realidades.

In grades 7 and 8, students will continue the study of Spanish through their continued use of the textbook series, Realidades Basic grammatical structures and conversational units are presented, in addition to building upon those skills introduced in grade 6. Aspects of Spanish/Hispanic culture are also introduced.
