Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging
Steve Gregor, Ed.D.
Dr. Steve Gregor was appointed to the role of Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging as of July 1, 2023. Previously, he was the District's Director of Secondary Education since July 2016 and Orchard Valley Middle School principal from 2013-16. Dr. Gregor will use his leadership and supervisory experience at all levels as assets in this District-level administrative position.
Prior to his leadership role at OVMS, Dr. Gregor served as the district’s social studies supervisor since 2004. He is also a former social studies teacher, technology trainer, and WTHS Teacher of the Year in 1995. He earned his BA in education at the University of Valley Forge, MA in social science at Temple University, MA in educational leadership at Thomas Edison State University, and his doctoral degree in Instructional Technology and Distance Education from Nova Southeastern University. His primary area of research focused on the impact of educational social networking on student learning, completing his dissertation on “Social Networking: Closing the Achievement Between Regular and Special Education Students,” in April 2014. He has since published articles in Distance Education and NJPSA’s Educational Viewpoints.
