• BHMS Celebrates Bulldog of Compassion Recipients

On May 5, 2023, exactly on lunch hero day, BHMS lost their beloved head cook, Diane Rainey.  Diane loved the students with all her heart and had true compassion for those who experienced hardships in learning, economics, or socially.  As a result, Diane became the epitome of a Bulldog where she gave of herself completely.  Consequently each year we honor Diane's memory with the Bulldog of Compassion Award given to two 8th graders who value service to others above themselves.  The 2024 and first recipients were Riley Trombetta and Julian Baggett.

Pictures of Julian and Riley as well as her jacket and pictures of her family will be hanging in the cafeteria as we build the memorial and preserve a bench outside in the courtyard.
