Patricia Blome
(Term Expires: December 31, 2026)
Patricia Blome has been a resident of Washington Township since 1978. She resides with her husband, Charles, in the Peppertree Farms development. Patricia is the mother of four children and the grandmother of nine. All four of her children are graduates of Washington Township High School. Three of her children reside here in Washington Township, and seven of her grandchildren have or will attend schools in our district.
Patricia is a graduate of Elizabethtown College with a degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education. She taught in the district from 1978-2018. Most of that time was spent as a kindergarten teacher. Her last several years were spent co-teaching in an inclusive classroom. The support and educational opportunities of our special education students, as well as our young learners, are areas that she continues to research and learn about presently. Both topics are important to her, even as a retired educator.
As a board member, Patricia hopes to be a practical, truthful, and courteous voice for our community, staff, and, most importantly, our students. She plans to share ideas based on her educational experiences and help out wherever she can as our district works towards providing for the educational needs of ALL of our students.
