    DECA is a student organization established for Marketing Education Students. Students in Marketing Education will have the opportunity to be a DECA member. By doing so, these students will learn leadership skills, gain vocational understanding, learn social intelligence and work on civic consciousness projects.

     
    What is DECA? DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe.
     
    What do you do in DECA? Members compete in various events at a regional, state, and national level. Events are problem solving case studies related to a field of business. Students present solutions to problems to a judge at competition. Members are also involved in community and school outreach programs.
     
    What makes TWP DECA special? WTHS has a very strong DECA chapter.  We have received recognition on a national level for our membership, community service, and school store. In 2022, over 80 members competed at the state level with 11 advancing to Nationals in Atlanta, Georgia!
     
    How can parents and the community get involved? If you want to get involved in DECA, you can volunteer to judge at the regional or state level.  We are also looking for judges for a practice session after school in December.
     
    Be a sponsor! We are always looking for sponsors. Sponsors support the club financially. We have tiers for our sponsorships that include logo representation on promotional materials.
