Welcome to Art Club
-
The Washington Twp. High School Art Club is comprised of a group of students who share a common interest in the creation of art. The Art Club promotes imagination, creativity, and art production. We have two events we focus on creating art for throughout the year. The Empty Bowls Fundraiser in the Fall and District Art Night in the Spring. Empty Bowls is a grassroots movement by artists and crafts people in cities and towns around the world to raise money for food-related charities to care for and feed the hungry in their communities. The Art Club creates the bowls for the dinner we host. District Art Night is a culmination of the artwork that has been created by students in every school in the district. The Art Club sells art during District Art Night to raise money for the club as well as performing demonstrations. Art Club provides activities for students of all levels of interests and abilities. You do not have to have any prior art experience to join Art Club. This is an excellent opportunity for students to get involved and use whatever skills they have to make a difference in their community. We are here to learn and have fun.
If you are interested in joining Art Club , please request to join our Schoology Group at https://wtps.schoology.com/group/3131202827
We will be using the Schoology Page to promote activities and for announcements.
Thanks!
