Here's a look at some of the program's all-time leaders:
Our team captains will be holding practices all summer. Participation is optional. These practices provide free reps during the summer months in order to prepare for tryouts if you choose. Please join the team captain remind by texting @2025gvbcap to 81010. Information about captains practices will be provided through this remind.
Tryout Information:
Tryouts will take place August 18-20, 2025. The following will be needed for fall 2025:
FALL PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS FROM THE ATHLETIC OFFICE - CLICK HERE
YOU MUST BE MEDICALLY CLEARED IF YOU WISH TO TRY OUT. Please take care of the following well in advance (no later than July 1st):
MEDICAL CLEARANCE (Due July 1st):
1. Register on Genesis (new as of May 5, 2025)
2. Complete MEF (Medical Eligibility Form) signed by your family physician ... turn in to the Athletic Office.
3. Complete the Health History Questionnaire if your MEF is older than 90 days. Complete this online in Genesis.
4. Action Plan/Clearances. Submit original form (Actions: Asthma, Epi-Pen, diabetic ... Ortho, Cardiac, Medical Clearance)

PLEASE NOTE THAT IT TAKES TIME (AFTER ALL PAPERWORK IS COMPLETED) FOR OUR SCHOOL PHYSICIAN TO APPROVE YOU MEDICALLY TO TRY OUT. TURNING IN FORMS AFTER THE JULY 1ST DATE WILL MOST LIKELY RESULT IN THE STUDENT-ATHLETE NOT BEING CLEARED.
