The first day of girls volleyball in New Jersey is Monday, August 19th, 2024. I am planning to have a 3-day tryout from August 19-21, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm in the 11/12 old gym. Look for specific report times later on this site, team remind, captains remind.
YOU MUST BE MEDICALLY CLEARED IF YOU WISH TO TRY OUT. Please take care of the following well in advance (no later than July 1st):
MEDICAL CLEARANCE (Due July 1st):
1. Register with Family ID
2. Complete a physical exam and mail/email it to the high school athletic office (physicals are good for one year, must be less than a year prior to the start of the GVB season)
3. Complete the Health History Questionnaire (with COVID-19 questions) and mail/email it to the high school athletic office and the school nurse

PLEASE NOTE THAT IT TAKES TIME (AFTER ALL PAPERWORK IS COMPLETED) FOR OUR SCHOOL PHYSICIAN TO APPROVE YOU MEDICALLY TO TRY OUT. TURNING IN FORMS AFTER THE JULY 1ST DATE WILL MOST LIKELY RESULT IN THE STUDENT-ATHLETE NOT BEING CLEARED.
