*Interested in WTHS winter sports? Please begin submitting required paperwork to the Athletics Department. The winter sports season begins on November 17th. Students must be cleared for participation, to be eligible for try-outs. Paperwork can be found on the school website, or you may inquire in the Nurse's or Athletics Offices.

*Any boy in grades 9-12 interested in trying out for basketball must complete the registration process on Genesis & submit all required physical forms ASAP. An informational meeting date & time will be announced soon. 

*Attention Juniors and Seniors... Are you interested in attending a Historically Black College or University (HBCU)? If so, we invite you to attend an interest meeting for this year’s HBCU College Fair on Friday, October 17th in the IMC classroom during lunch block. Come learn more about what HBCUs have to offer and how you can be a part of this exciting opportunity. For more information, please see Mr. Lemons in the counseling office

*Science national honors society is now offering tutoring! Anyone who needs assistance in any level science class should fill out the form through the QR code in the halls, in science classrooms, or on the school TVs! This tutoring is between the students in science national honor society and those who are being tutored, and all who are interested can get the help they need!

*The next Game Club meeting will be on Monday, October 20th, after school in the IMC.  New members are always welcome.  See Mr. Wong if you have any questions!

*Kick it into high gear with FBLA! Compete in a variety of business and non business events against the best and brightest! We can’t wait to see how you fuel your future! FBLA sign ups will be due to Mr DeLaurentis in G202 this Friday! Dues are $35 cash or check made payable to WTHS FBLA! 

*If any students are interested in participating in Interact's 5th annual Turkey Trot Fun Run, please plan to stop by G-208 during either Lunch 1 or 2 on Friday October 17th. All students are welcome to participate.

*25th Annual Spirit Parade is Friday, October 17th starting at 4:45 pm! Come out and support the over 400 students and teachers participating in this year's Spirit Parade to Kick Off Homecoming Weekend!
