PARENT RESOURCES

  • Here at the IMC, we respect your role as parents/guardians and the traditions you hold sacred in your homes. We understand your right to closely monitor your student's reading and encourage families to talk with each other about what each other is reading. When people talk about books, they are able to build stronger relationships and reinforce personal values and beliefs. We hope you talk to your children about their reading selections, and we recommend you read with your student so that you can discuss any concerns about the content and foster a deeper understanding of an author’s purpose.

If you want to know more about a book that your student is reading or help with guiding them in selecting their next book, please utilize the resources found on this page. Should you need further assistance, please reach out to the School Library Media Specialist Mrs. Corinne Dowdell at cdowdell@wtps.org.
